Chialism and the End of the Age

Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch. It fell on one-third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter. The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way. - Revelations 8:10-12

The above portion of the "7th Seal" prophecy echoes the expectation that many Christians harbor regarding the coming End of the Age. While more enlightened spiritual seekers generally reject such dark and fearful prophetic interpretations, it is interesting to note that a certain stream of underground esoteric thought actually embraces the notion of a chialistic transition as Pieces gives way to Aquarius.

Many religious traditions foretell of an eventual chaotic and violent ending of the world as we know it, and perhaps it's reasonable to assume that Ages rarely transit peacefully, although it should be mentioned that some Christian theologians contend that the events depicted in Revelations are symbolic or have already occurred.

The mysterious alchemical author Fulcanelli mentioned a "double catastrophe" in which the world would be "tried by fire". In 1926 he published an alchemical book "The Mystery of the Cathedrals", and later added a chapter that focused on an obscure stone monument in a church yard in Hendaye, France. Engraved on the monument are cryptic alchemical symbols, including an angry-looking sun. Fulcanelli strongly implies that the angry sun will be the source of the "trial by fire".

I find the study of ancient alchemy to be fascinating, and there is much that could be discussed about Fulcanelli and his expose of the European cathedrals as repositories of alchemical knowledge. However, this discussion is limited to the concept of chialism - intriguing that there are so many dots to connect on this.

Information channeled from ETs has occasionally touched on a problem with the sun's instability, and some astrophysicists have theorized that there may be periodic events in our galaxy that cause the sun to flare or inflict damage on earth from cosmic radiation. Some are noticing unusual activity on the sun. NASA even seems concerned.

There are also persistent rumors that the Powers-That-Be are preparing underground bunkers as safe haven against some type of expected catastrophe. The nature of Fulcanelli's writings imply that he was part of an elusive group of occult cognoscenti that the ruling elite most certainly are aware of. Thus, whatever catastrophe the stone monument in Hendaye portends is common knowledge in elite circles.

There appears to be both light and dark sides to alchemical tradition, and as I've mentioned previously, the PTB are likely to be dimly aware of the ascension shift. They assume the rest of us will fry while they huddle in their bunkers, but still are disturbed by the aspects of the shift that they don't understand.

Personally, I'd like to sort some of this out while it's still possible.
